Kyle Walker’s Wife Annie Kilner Faces Court Over £100k Car Speeding Case After Previous Driving Ban Scare

Annie Kilner, the wife of former Manchester City player Kyle Walker, is scheduled to go on trial after being found speeding in a £100,000 luxury vehicle just months after being fined for using her phone while driving.
Kilner’s trial is set for March 2026, and she may be prohibited from driving if found guilty of the allegations. Not yet confirmed though.
Kilner was accused of being “behind the wheel while not being in control” when a patrol car pulled him over at traffic signals in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, in June 2024.

Regarding the police officer who witnessed the alleged incident, public prosecutor Michael O’Kane subsequently stated: “A black Mercedes people carrier EQV 300 passed the vehicle as he was waiting.”
He noticed that Miss Kilner, the driver, had one hand on the steering wheel and her cell phone in her left. After pursuing and stopping the car, the police spoke with the defendant. “My kids are at padel,” she remarked, adding that she was running late.
Kilner first entered a not guilty plea, but she eventually consented to a charge of improperly operating her car rather than using a cell phone while driving.
In addition to receiving three penalty points, she was mandated to pay £677 in fines and expenses. With the additional three points, she now has nine points on her licence, up from her previous six.
Kilner Was Simply Charged Because Of speeding
The Sun reports that Kilner, Walker’s wife, has been charged with a new driving offence just months after averting a driving suspension.
Kilner is accused of driving her £100,000 Land Rover near the Manchester airport on May 18 at 64 mph on a 50 mph road.
Barrister Nick Ross represented the mother of four, who was not present at the Tuesday hearing at Crewe Magistrates’ Court.
He informed the court that the 33-year-old disputed the crime and demanded that the prosecution’s case be dismissed due to “gaps and failings.”
Kilner is currently relieved because the case has been postponed until March 17, 2026, when a trial will be held at Chester Magistrates’ Court.
Kilner will be prohibited from driving under the totting up procedure if found guilty.
Walker spent the second half of the 2024–25 season on loan at Serie A’s AC Milan before returning to England in the summer to be with his family.

Despite having a contract that was valid until 2026, his time at Etihad Stadium was coming to an end because he was no longer a part of Pep Guardiola’s plans.
The full-back was eventually transferred for £5 million ($6.6 million) to Burnley, a recently promoted Premier League team.
Walker is receiving consistent playing time under Scott Parker, a former teammate from their time at Tottenham Hotspur, and has started in all nine of Burnley’s Premier League games to date.
With three victories and ten points, the Clarets are presently ranked sixteenth in the English Premier League.
According to a report from The Sun, Walker’s former partner Lauryn Goodman moved on from the English defender when she went on a date with British tennis player Jack Draper.
Months after the 35-year-old football player got back together with his wife Kilner, the reality TV star, who has two children with Walker, met the 23-year-old athlete on the celebrity dating app Raya.
The influencer was spotted in Wandsworth on a coffee date with the top tennis player in Britain in September, according to the article.
After it was revealed that Walker had fathered a second child with Goodman during their intermittent relationship, Walker and Kilner went through a public breakup.
However, in an effort to mend their marriage, the Burnley defender has recently returned to Kilner’s Cheshire home.
