Manchester United icon Rio Ferdinand has shared his forecast as Arsenal takes on Real Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final.  The Gunners’ hopes of winning the Premier League are nearly finished as Mikel Arteta’s team trails 13 points behind leaders Liverpool before their last six games of the season.  Arsenal is now focused entirely on securing the Champions League, with Arteta's team creating an excellent opportunity to make it to the semi-finals.  Two stunning free-kicks from Declan Rice and a goal from Mikel Merino resulted in Arsenal defeating Real Madrid 3-0 in the first leg as they travel to the Bernabeu on Wednesday.  Ferdinand remarked on his YouTube channel: “If Madrid gets the first goal and there’s about thirty minutes left… rah! My backside will be voicing for you all [Arsenal]!  “I believe Arsenal will advance, believe me.” I do. I believe it will be excessive. I believe Arsenal will advance. I believe they have excessive...

‘Plan approved’ – Romano discloses two players who will ‘depart’ Man Utd in the summer

Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano asserts that he has “verified” that Man Utd “intends” to permit two players to depart in the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils are enduring a dismal season, with Ruben Amorim’s team now assured of being the worst Manchester United squad in Premier League history.

Man Utd is presently in 14th place in the Premier League and has no chance of earning a European spot from their league standing, having secured only ten victories throughout the season.

However, they have an opportunity to compete in the Champions League next season if they succeed in winning the Europa League against Man Utd, as they face Lyon in the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final on Thursday.

Once their outcome in that contest is determined, Man Utd can begin to prepare for the upcoming season with several players rumored to join Old Trafford, while others may depart.

Romano has disclosed that Manchester United has already reached a conclusion regarding two players, as Jonny Evans and Tom Heaton will both depart when their contracts end in the summer.

Romano posted on X: ‘Tom Heaton and Jonny Evans will both depart Manchester United when the season concludes, confirmation received.’

Teddy Sheringham has informed Man Utd that competing with the leading clubs in the transfer market this summer will be challenging for them.

When inquired about which four transfer priorities could change Amorim’s team, Sheringham responded to casinoapps.com: “That’s a really excellent question right now. I'm not sure there are many that come to mind. The kind of players you require are leaders. I mean, where will you acquire them from now?

“At premium prices, will they want to join United at this moment?” Man City are currently searching the market to reinvest and assemble another squad comparable to their previous title-winning team.

“So, they’re likely attracting the best targets since players desire to compete for titles.” The best athletes aspire to compete in the premier events. Therefore, it will be difficult for Manchester United to match up against these teams now.

“Liverpool and City will be at the top of the list when a premier player is up for grabs.” This is what occurs when you drop in the hierarchy. I would prefer to play for City, Liverpool, Real Madrid, or Barcelona; that’s likely what they are considering.

"When it comes to selecting players, I'm honestly unsure about how to begin." It’s currently a position focused on management reconstruction. They’ve descended that far in the hierarchy. It’s not just about acquiring the top players; it’s those beneath them who possess the determination, passion, and hope of elevating to the next level, of advancing a club further, even if they haven’t experienced it themselves.

"Perhaps a Micky van de Ven, who has been motivating at Tottenham." Whether acquiring Van de Ven from Tottenham is feasible is a different matter. That is the kind of player you would consider and the kind of player Manchester United ought to aim for.
