Manchester United icon Rio Ferdinand has shared his forecast as Arsenal takes on Real Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final.  The Gunners’ hopes of winning the Premier League are nearly finished as Mikel Arteta’s team trails 13 points behind leaders Liverpool before their last six games of the season.  Arsenal is now focused entirely on securing the Champions League, with Arteta's team creating an excellent opportunity to make it to the semi-finals.  Two stunning free-kicks from Declan Rice and a goal from Mikel Merino resulted in Arsenal defeating Real Madrid 3-0 in the first leg as they travel to the Bernabeu on Wednesday.  Ferdinand remarked on his YouTube channel: “If Madrid gets the first goal and there’s about thirty minutes left… rah! My backside will be voicing for you all [Arsenal]!  “I believe Arsenal will advance, believe me.” I do. I believe it will be excessive. I believe Arsenal will advance. I believe they have excessive...

‘Certain that we’ll return’ – Jude Bellingham confident about Real Madrid's prospects

Jude Bellingham expressed confidence in Real Madrid’s ability to stage an incredible Champions League comeback against Arsenal on Wednesday night, referring to it as “a night destined for Real Madrid.”

Real Madrid were dismantled by an impressively efficient display from Arsenal last week, as Declan Rice scored two free kicks to give Arsenal a 2-0 lead before Mikel Merino sealed the deal.

Even with the challenging task ahead, the 20-year-old midfielder believes that his team can reverse the deficit at the Santiago Bernabéu and achieve a remarkable comeback.

"I mentioned to someone recently that it has felt like a strange atmosphere over the past few days." It's among the most disappointing outcomes we could envision when playing away, and for some reason, everyone believes it's certain that we'll return.

“I must admit, it feels rather pleasant.” It signifies a strong belief in our abilities. It signifies that you're in a nightclub that is one of a kind, the finest globally. "That’s what it means and symbolizes to me."

Although they were significant underdogs before the second leg, Bellingham recognized that expectations are consistently elevated when representing a club such as Madrid.

"Undoubtedly, there's a sense of pressure in that." We aim to fulfill what everyone believes, that we can return. That’s our objective. There’s stress, but that’s what it’s truly about, right?

"It's a night designed for Real Madrid, a night that will be etched in history, yet it's also something known by people in this region."

"With any luck, we can create another memorable evening."

When questioned about his team's mindset before the important second leg, Bellingham stated: “Regarding our mental strength, we have confidence in it." You can’t enter games like this believing there won’t be anything other than a comeback. We’re prepared, enthusiastic, and eagerly anticipating it.

Real Madrid expects that when we find ourselves in these tough situations, we can still recover, even if it’s extremely challenging. It’s simply due to the club's numerous accomplishments; this is what makes the scale of this club remarkable, as the expectations are truly significant.

"What instills confidence in us is our quality, the club's history, the fans who show up and give their all on game night, and the atmosphere of the Bernabéu during these Champions League evenings – that's always significant."

"Despite the fact that we believed we performed at our worst in [the first leg], we still created opportunities and had instances where we could have taken better advantage."

He finished with a feeling of hope, remarking, “Typically, after your worst performances, you sense a huge gap, and it seems impossible to get back into the game.

"Nonetheless, we had several opportunities." If we focused on the things they excelled at, we could be a part of it. "We're not foolish but assured in our capabilities."

Jude Bellingham and Real Madrid will strive to be the fifth club in Champions League history to recover from a three-goal deficit from the first leg.
